The Flag of Mexico is contains the colors green, white, and red with the national coat of arms. The current flag was adopted in 1968, but the overall design has been used since 1821 when the First National Flag was created. In the year 1999 started President Ernesto Zedillo a program to erecting giant flags across the country. Nowadays you can find them in many city centers waving in there proud 14.3 m by 25 meters in a high of 50 meters.
